2013! A new year a new attempt at a (not) new blog!

So Mobile Dubs probably could use some explaining. I began the blog while we were living in the city of Mobile, AL but I knew that would be temporary. Lucky for me, our city name is a homonym. Its alternate meaning is an adjective meaning, according to Mirriam-Webster, "capable of moving or being moved." PERFECT military family blog title, right! The dubs is because we are the Wallaces and Dubs is a way more fun way of saying 'doubleyous'. At least it was back when I was a freshman in college in he long ago time the year of our Lord 2K. Last night when I was considering a new blog and title (maybe something like the pretentious "Life at the Lakehouse" so I can continue trying to make people think I'm cool) I thought, "hey... this blog title is still pretty relevant." So with it I stuck. As I went to write the post, I noticed my last one was in 2010 and it was just a picture. Whoops. I hope I can better this time. Like I always hope. I am not optimistic.
